?Why Do You Need A Photobooth

24/10/2019

Photobooths have evolved somewhat over the last few years and now having been part of over 300 amazing weddings not to mention corporate events and parties it’s a question that I can confidently answer!

There is not an event that goes by where we don’t take anything less than a few hundred awesome photos. So this being my first real blog with hopefully many more to come I wanted to share with you the essential reasons as to why you should book a photo

A Pro-Pose Photo booth!

Weddings are a big part of what we do with roughly 75 percent of bookings being for that big day! What I have found over the years is that there's always that lol period after the reception when the bride and groom are off having photos done and guests are left waiting for the evening entertainment. For us this is the perfect time to get cracking and take some photos, just before the evening kicks off. It provides a great source of entertainment for everyone involved.

You get to relax! That’s right, when that curtain closes in the Pro-Pose Booth you and your guests can do what the hell you want. Believe me I've seen it all! People naturally want to strike a crazy pose, grab a relative they haven’t seen in years, stick on some props and……well what happens in the booth stays in the booth.

Memories! On average we would normally take 300 plus photos in anyone booking and not only do you get to take the prints on the night and have your own online gallery. On top of that our introduction of the coffee table book is something you can treasure

The party vibe. Its been said at so many events that we have been fortunate to be part of that the Pro-Pose team bring a different kinda vibe to the party. Its absolutely true and luckily all the team love what we do. I personally have made so many great

All ages can get involved. Now this is a true story, we once had a lady in our booth who was at the tender age of 92! Yes 92. I honestly couldn’t get her out – shed never seen anything like it and was hooked from the off. At the other end of the spec

Quality. As you know we are ever evolving and so is our technology. The cameras, studio lighting, elegant black backdrop really does set the scene for some stunning photos. I myself am absolutely and quite annoyingly OCD when it comes to the photos. After all, you’ve paid for a great service with great photos and that is what you shall get.

Reflecting on another great year here at Pro-Pose

05/01/2020

Well, what can I say 2019 has proven to be yet again another amazing year for the Pro Pose team. The photobooth industry is ever evolving and our vintage booth option is becoming the number one choice for all you Pro-Posers (and I don't blame you!).

Our in house designed vintage Booth was part of over 50 weddings alone in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. On top of that we had the pleasure of creating memories for those of you celebrating engagements, milestone birthdays and a number o

This blog business is such a fantastic opportunity for me to portray my thanks for everyone that has booked our photo booths in 2019. But, not only those that booked us but also the support we receive from such venues as the Farmhouse at Redcoats, Bassmea

I want to also send out my huge thanks to the girls at Olive Events, 1st class weddings and Mr H Productions for their continued support. These guys and gals work so so hard in delivering exceptional entertainment and venue decoration.

So, what can you the prospective Pro Poser expect from us in 2020? Well, to start with our Vintage Booth will be going in for a 'freshen up' with a nice shiny new spray and graphics re-printed. Our hosting site and web has undergone a full revamp and I've just put in an order for some new booth props (Can’t wait for you to see these!).

There's already a few wedding fairs planned for 2020, including some new territory for us at Pro Pose as we will be attending Woodland Manor in Bedford for the first time for the Affinity Magazine Wedding show - that's on the 12th January 2020. Later in

2020 is certainly going to be an exciting year for the Pro-Pose team and already Im looking forward to meeting some new Pro-Posers and making more and more memories!

Thank you all once again for 2019 and believing in the Pro-Pose team, Dan X

Christmas parties are a time of joy, laughter, and togetherness, where guests come together to celebrate the holiday season in festive style. Organising a memorable Christmas party, whether it’s for family, friends, or coworkers, often involves choosing

Another great advantage of having a photobooth at your Christmas party is its adaptability to different themes. Whether you’re hosting a classic winter wonderland event, a fun ugly sweater party, or a sleek, sophisticated cocktail gathering, photobooths can be customized with themed props, backdrops, and filters to match your vision. For Christmas parties, photobooth companies often provide a wide range of seasonal props like mistletoe, fake snow, candy canes, and holiday glasses, giving your guests everything they need to craft the perfect festive snapshot.

With a photobooth as part of your entertainment, the personalised backdrops and unique props help bring your event theme to life, adding visual appeal and tying your decorations together. As guests walk by and see others laughing and posing, they’ll be more inclined to join in and become part of the experience, helping everyone get into the holiday spirit.

One of the greatest gifts a host can give guests is the chance to take home a keepsake, and photobooths provide that perfectly. When the Christmas party is over, most of the decorations come down, the music fades, and guests return to their routines. Howe

Incorporating a photobooth into your Christmas party isn’t just about the immediate fun – it’s about giving your guests a slice of the experience that they can revisit long after the holiday season. As an interactive, customisable, and lasting addit

So Important to Book Early

03/02/2025

Why You Should Secure Your Photobooth Early for Your Wedding

When it comes to planning your wedding, every detail matters from the venue and the dress to the flowers and the entertainment. But one element that often gets left until the last minute is the photobooth. If you’re considering having a photobooth at yo

Weddings are filled with beautiful, professional photos captured by your photographer, but photobooths offer something unique candid, spontaneous fun. Guests let loose, strike silly poses, and create memories they wouldn’t capture in traditional photos.

Plus, the instant prints become cherished keepsakes. Guests leave with physical memories in their hands, and you’ll get a digital gallery full of moments you might have otherwise missed. Its these genuine, unscripted snapshots that couple’s treasure for years to come.

A photobooth isn’t just about photos. It breaks the ice, gets people mingling, and keeps the fun going throughout the evening. Whether its during cocktail hour, between dinner courses, or as the dance floor heats up, a photobooth is a magnet for guests of all ages.

Unlike some forms of entertainment that appeal to specific groups, photobooths are universal. Kids love them, grandparents love them, and everyone in between gets involved. Its interactive, inclusive, and guaranteed to keep your wedding buzzing with energ

Weddings can be expensive there’s no getting around that. But when you consider the impact a photobooth has compared to its cost, its incredible value. In proportion to the overall wedding budget, a high-quality photobooth is a small investment that del

Think about it: for the price of a few centrepieces or an extra floral arrangement, you get hours of entertainment, hundreds of photos, and keepsakes for both you and your guests. It’s one of the few elements of your wedding that continues to bring joy

This year is booking up fast. After being part of over 900 events, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly dates fill up especially during peak wedding season. My photobooth business is built on providing exceptional service and top-quality booths, which means I limit the number of events I take on to maintain those high standards.

I genuinely hate having to turn couples away because their date is already booked. It’s heartbreaking when someone reaches out excited to book, only to find that their dream date is no longer available. Thats why I always recommend securing early!

Why Choosing Your Own Wedding Suppliers Matters More Than Ever

14/07/2025

When planning your wedding, every detail should reflect you — your style, your love story, and your personality as a couple. But an increasing number of wedding venues are now offering

The truth is, weddings aren’t meant to be one-size-fits-all.

In-house services are often used repeatedly at the same venue, week after week. The same floral setups, the same playlist from the same DJ, and the same iPad-based selfie pod tucked in the same corner of the room. Over time, weddings at these venues can b

By choosing your own suppliers, you’re opening the door to endless creative possibilities. Independent DJs tailor their sets to your vibe and your crowd. Independent photo booth companies often offer one-of-a-kind experiences, handcrafted designs, and personalised templates that fit your theme and style. Independent décor specialists get to know your tastes and create something that reflects your vision — not the venue’s branding.

What’s more concerning is that many venues now charge couples a fee or enforce a clause if they wish to bring in their own trusted suppliers. This practice not only limits choice but penalises couples for wanting something personal and unique. It’s not about convenience anymore — it’s about control. And in a day that’s meant to celebrate freedom, love, and individuality, that doesn’t sit right.

Using recommended suppliers is not the problem — in fact, many venues work with talented external professionals. The problem arises when couples are forced to use in-house options, even when they’ve found suppliers who are better suited to their needs

At the end of the day, your wedding should be a reflection of you, not your venue’s business model. Choosing your own suppliers means working with passionate experts who prioritise creativity, flexibility, and above all, you. It means getting fresh idea

So if you’re planning your big day, don’t settle for “convenient.” Choose what feels right for you. Surround yourself with suppliers who are excited to bring your vision to life — not just tick a box on a venue’s preferred list. Your wedding d

Bespoke Printing Templates: The Pro-Pose Difference

04/09/2025

When it comes to photo booth hire, every company promises fun, laughter and memories. But at Pro-Pose Entertainment, we believe it’s the details that transform an event from enjoyable to unforgettable.

One of the biggest ways we stand apart from other suppliers is through our bespoke printing templates—a unique service that ensures your event has a personal touch guests will remember.

Many photo booth companies offer a handful of generic print designs. While they look nice, they rarely capture the personality or theme of your event. At Pro-Pose our real specialty lies in creating completely bespoke layouts tailored to you.

Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event or milestone birthday, our team works with you to design a template that perfectly complements your theme. From matching your wedding invitations to incorporating company logos and branding, every detail can be personalised to bring your vision to life.

A photo booth print is more than just a fun snapshot—it’s a keepsake your guests will treasure. A bespoke design makes it even more special. Instead of a standard strip, guests take home a personalised memento that reflects the look and feel of your celebration.

This attention to detail is what sets Pro-Pose apart. Our booths are already unique, being handmade and designed with style in mind. But it’s the bespoke printing templates that add another layer of individuality, a service few suppliers offer.

No two events are the same, so why settle for a one-size-fits-all approach? At Pro-Pose, your booth experience is as unique as your celebration. Our bespoke templates put your personal stamp on every print, making your event truly one-of-a-kind.

Professional companies like Pro-Pose Entertainment handle the full setup, operation, and pack-down, so you can relax and enjoy the event. Our booths are stylish, handmade, and designed to complement any venue — from a cosy office party to a grand hotel ballroom. Each session is manned by a friendly booth attendant to ensure everything runs smoothly and your guests have the best experience possible.

It’s the perfect way to end the year on a high note and create lasting memories your team will talk about long after the event.

So, if you’re planning a Christmas party, end-of-year celebration, or corporate event in the South East, a photobooth is the perfect way to add fun, style, and unforgettable moments to your evening.
